3형식 수동태와 시제

 

 

1. 3형식은 ‘S + V + O'의 구조입니다.

2. 수동태로 바꿀 때는...

① 능동태 문장의 목적어를 주어자리로 옮기고,

② 동사는 'be+p.p.'의 형태로 바꾸되, be동사는 '수와 시제'에 주의합니다.

③ 남은 표현들을 이어서 써주고,

④ 능동태의 주어는 보통 'by+ 목적격'의 형태로 써줍니다.

 

 

 

예문입니다.

 

 

 

1. 현재 수동태 (is/ am/ are+ p.p.)

 

I love you.

⇒ You are loved by me.

 

 

 

2. 과거 수동태 (was/ were+ p.p.)

 

One of the biggest difficulties faced researchers.

⇒ Researchers were faced with[by] one of the biggest difficulties.

(연구자들은 가장 큰 문제의 하나를 직면했다.)

 

 

 

3. 조동사가 있는 수동태 (조동사+ be+p.p.)

 

The scientists will use the giant Gemini telescope to see the planet.

⇒ The giant Gemini telescope will be used to see the planet by the scientists.

(과학자들은 그 행성을 보기 위해 거대한 제미니 망원경을 사용할 것이다.)

 

 

 

4. 현재완료형의 수동태 (have/ has+ been+ p.p.)

 

The church has provided free lunch for the homeless.

⇒ Free lunch for the homeless has been provided by the church.

(그 교회는 노숙자들에게 무료 점심을 제공해 왔다.)

 

 

 

5. 과거완료형의 수동태 (had+ been+ p.p.)

 

Technicians at the center had detected abnormally high levels of radiation.

⇒ Abnormally high levels of radiation had been detected by technicians at the center.

(그 센터의 전문가들은 비정상적으로 높은 방사능 수치를 탐지했다.)

 

 

 

6. 진행형의 수동태 (be+ being+ p.p.)

 

She was cleaning the room.

⇒ The room was being cleaned by her.
